Vanessa Chan
Vanessa is the financial controller based in Singapore where she is responsible for assisting directors in private equity investments in shipping, healthcare and alternative investments which includes but not limited to managing and monitoring portfolio companies’ performance, new investments analysis and transaction documentation as well as statutory financial reporting.
Prior to joining M&L Group, Vanessa held various finance roles including financial management as well as corporate finance within shipping industry with companies like Berge Bulk (Singapore) Pte Ltd, AET Tankers Pte Ltd, Neptune Orient Lines Ltd. She was seconded to UK for 3.5 years during her stay with AET Tankers Pte Ltd to support the company’s M&A and corporate finance activities while participated in the IPO listing in US and sale of petroleum shipping division during her stay with Neptune Orient Lines Ltd.
Vanessa is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore and holds a Master of Business in Finance from University of Technology, Sydney and Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University of Wellington.
