Steven Kum

Dr Kum received his medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 2000 and completed his surgical training with the Royal College of Surgeons, obtaining his Master of Medicine and Fellowship in 2007. He further specialized with fellowships in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery in Sydney and Leipzig, and Advanced Techniques in Diabetic Limb Salvage in Milan. Since 2015, he has been the Director of Vascular Surgery at Changi General Hospital Singapore and currently practices at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital.

Dr Kum is a Clinical lecturer at Yong Loo Lin and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and a Faculty member for General Surgical Residents for Singhealth. He proctors physicians in Endovascular procedures in Europe and Asia and is part of the organizing committee of LINC and VERVE. His clinical research focuses on Diabetic Limb Salvage, and he is a pioneer in Percutaneous Deep Arterialization for no-option Critical Limb Ischemia.

Dr Kum is actively involved in several industry and physician-led studies as PI or co-PI and is working on innovative technologies. In his current role, he provides expert opinions on medical-related matters for potential investments.
