Michael Kum Soh Har

Mr. Kum Soh Har Michael is the Executive Chairman of the M&L Hospitality Group and Non-Executive Chairman of the M&L Manager Board, overseeing corporate and business strategies. He earned a Certificate in Higher Commercial Law and Higher Costing from the London Chamber of Commerce in 1966.

Beginning his career in 1969 as the Finance and Administration Manager for Marine Charters (Singapore) Pte Ltd, Mr. Kum founded Marine Equipment Pte Ltd in 1975. He co-founded Offshore Equipment Pte Ltd in 1976, which became Miclyn Offshore, and acquired a shipyard in Batam, Indonesia, in 2005.

In 2009, Mr. Kum established Grandline International Limited, focusing on real estate hospitality investments. Under his leadership, M&L Hospitality Group has grown significantly, becoming a major hotel owner across Asia-Pacific and Europe.
