Mark Tucker

Mark Tucker is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years of experience, formerly serving as a Principal and Partner at McBurney & Partners, a Sydney-based chartered accounting firm. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in providing financial and business advisory services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, including private equity funds and multinational corporations.

Mr Tucker graduated in 1978 from the University of Technology Sydney with a Bachelor of Business degree. He became an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in 1979 and was admitted as a Fellow in 1990. In 1980, he became a Registered Company Auditor, and he is also a Registered Tax Agent and Chartered Tax Advisor, holding membership with the Taxation Institute of Australia since 2000.

With extensive experience in business structuring and financial advisory services, he has provided strategic support for inbound international entities and Australian subsidiaries of listed global organisations. His expertise spans areas such as cash flow management, funding alternatives, taxation (income tax, GST, capital gains tax, fringe benefits tax), and business operations. He has also served as a company director, company secretary, and resident agent for numerous Australian branches and subsidiaries.

In addition to his advisory roles, he has significant expertise in audit services and compliance reporting. He has regularly reported to international head offices on Australian operations and acted extensively as an expert witness in legal cases relating to economic loss, business valuations, foreign exchange disputes, and family law matters.

Currently, he continues to contribute his wealth of knowledge to the industry through trustee and executorship appointments, while providing business advice and financial management support to clients. His longstanding career reflects a deep commitment to the principles of sound financial management and strategic business leadership.
