Lynda Kum

Lynda Kum is a Non-Executive Director of the M&L Group and has played a pivotal role in the Group’s evolution since its inception. With a strong background in business and administration, she has been instrumental in shaping M&L’s growth as a leading private real estate investment platform.

Her journey began as a co-founder of Offshore Equipment Pte Ltd in 1976, a company that provided offshore support vessels to the oil and gas industry across the Middle East and Southeast Asia. She managed the administrative operations of the family’s offshore shipping business, overseeing its development from inception until its sale to Macquarie Capital in 2007. Following this, she transitioned into real estate investment alongside her husband, Michael Kum, co-investing in their first hotel in Australia in 2009. This venture marked the foundation of M&L Hospitality, which has since expanded to own a portfolio of 20 hotels across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the UK.

Beyond her corporate contributions, Lynda remains a strong advocate for philanthropy, supporting various charitable initiatives in Singapore. She is deeply committed to ensuring that M&L Group upholds its founding principles of integrity, long-term vision, and social responsibility.
