It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Mr Gwee Lian Kheng, Independent Director of the M&L Manager Board.
Mr Gwee served on the M&L Manager board for six years. He was a highly respected leader who brought invaluable wisdom and experience to our organisation. His distinguished career included over 45 years with UOL Group Limited, where he served as Group Chief Executive and Executive Director. He was also a prominent figure on the boards of several listed companies and a Fellow of leading accountancy bodies in Singapore and the United Kingdom.
Mr Gwee’s outstanding contributions to the property and hospitality sectors were recognised with numerous accolades, including the Asia Pacific Hotelier of the Year Award and the Hotel Legends Hall of Fame Award. His dedication to public service was also honoured with the Pingat Bakti Masyarakat and Bintang Bakti Masyarakat awards.
Mr Gwee will be remembered for his leadership, his commitment to excellence, and the impact he made across the industry and community. We are deeply grateful for his contributions to M&L and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.
