Atlantic Group
In 2018, M&L’s family investment vehicle, Saeed Investment Pte Ltd, acquired a 50.2% stake in Atlantic Navigation, which is listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange and based in the UAE. Atlantic Navigation owns and operates 21 vessels in a fleet that is the 2nd youngest and the 11th largest in the Middle East. It specializes in providing offshore support vessel (OSV) services, playing a crucial role in supporting offshore oilfield development across various stages, including exploration, construction, production, and maintenance in the Middle East. With its diverse fleet, the company charters OSVs tailored to meet the unique demands of these phases. In addition to its core chartering business, Atlantic provides ship repair, maintenance, and fabrication services both in-house and to external clients. This integrated approach enables Atlantic to offer comprehensive solutions, ensuring efficient and reliable operations in one of the world’s most critical energy regions.
Rán Offshore
In 2017, M&L Group invested in a ballastable flat-top deck cargo barge with a carrying capacity of up to 15,000 MT. This barge supports drilling and production facilities, offshore construction and maintenance, decommissioning and wind farm operations in the North Sea. Commercially and technically managed by Rán Offshore AS, a Norwegian company established in 2014 and based in Trondheim, Rán Offshore specializes in chartering high-strength barges designed for demanding offshore conditions. The company prioritizes safety and environmental standards, holding ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, and contributes to sustainable energy initiatives across the region. The vessel completed drydock and installation of ballast water tank system recently and trades mostly in North Sea.
